This movie of Martin Scorsese is a masterpiece. Starting with the way he creates the atmospheres. He plays with light, music and his beautiful décor. What struck me most is the way he can capture his décor in the most astonishing way, so we as viewer can feel the surrounding with our bare hands. Martin likes to cast Leonardo Di Caprio and we all understand why. He gives so much depth and feeling to his character. The plot twist is quite predictable, but the way it is presented to us… It is astonishing. I loved this movie from the start to the ending. The symbolic and the questioning about ones self and what we are, or do in life. It makes me wonder who is the insane one and how could you not be.
